Guideline Development

Guideline Development

We translate complex evidence into clear, standardized pathways for clinical excellence and healthcare strategy.

Moving from research to reality requires clear direction. We provide comprehensive support for developing clinical practice guidelines using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations) framework to ensure your recommendations are transparent, defensible, and evidence-based. Our oversight covers the complete development lifecycle:

  1. Preparation & Strategic Scoping:

Establishing the guideline development group, managing conflicts of interest, and defining the scope to ensure final recommendations address high-priority practice gaps.

  2. Question Formulation (PICO):

Formulating specific, actionable research questions by defining the Population, Intervention, Comparator, and Outcomes (PICO).

  3. Systematic Evidence Synthesis:

Identifying existing high-quality systematic reviews or conducting de novo reviews to summarize evidence for each PICO question.

  4. Certainty Assessment (GRADE):

Moving beyond simple data to assess the certainty of evidence (High to Very Low) across five domains: risk of bias, inconsistency, indirectness, imprecision, and publication bias.

  5. Evidence-to-Decision (EtD) Framework:

Facilitating the panel's transition from evidence to recommendations by weighing the balance of benefits/harms, patient values, and resource utilization.

  6. Consensus Building & Formulation:

Leading multidisciplinary expert panels to reach consensus on the strength of recommendations (Strong or Conditional).

  7. External Review & Lifecycle Management:

Coordinating external peer reviews and establishing sustainable plans for regular updates to ensure recommendations remain current with emerging evidence.
